Bhubaneswar : Today, BJD MP Dr.Sasmit Patra raised the issues of Mahanadi and Polavaram affecting Odisha in the Zero Hour and spoke in Odia. After his submission, Hon’ble Vice President & Rajya Sabha Chairman Shri. Venkaiah Naidu, said “Uttam Kahuchi” in Odia and “Dhanyavad Aapko” to BJD MP Dr.Sasmit Patra for his submission. From the Chair, he also sent a note of appreciation to Dr.Sasmit Patra which said, “Uttam Kahuchhi” in Hindi and English mentioned with Dr.Patra’s name and signed by the Hon’ble Vice President himself. After the Session, with permission from the Hon’ble Vice President, Dr. Sasmit Patra placed it on his Twitter handle. Hon’ble VP has consistently appreciated Dr.Sasmit Patra for his efforts. On his part, Dr.Sasmit Patra has thanked the Hon’ble VP and Chairman Rajya Sabha for encouraging young MPs like him.
